Dear Alan, Even if it’s been 10 years since we lost you, it still hurts me a lot. I was 11 years old back then, and I’ve just started watching more of your movies. The first time I saw you was in “Harry Potter”, and I’ve been captivated since then. I’ve seen your whole filmography, and I can confidently say that you are the greatest actor of all time. My all time favourite character, apart from Severus Snape, is Alex Hughes from “Snow Cake”, and Sinclair from “Close my eyes”. You are my first and only inspiration. Even if I’m not an actress (I study psychology and in 9 months I’m getting my degree), I’ve learnt from you that you can do anything you want, if you truly love it. I even signed up to a small acting group in my university because of you and your work, and it helped me a lot with my confidence and my personality. I never had the chance to see you in person. I wish I had. I wish that you were still with us, so we can have the chance to see more of your magnificent work, which I truly believe it would be amazing. It’s been a great deal to me your death and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. You were a wonderful person and a great actor. I miss you and I think of you everyday. With lots of love, Nicole (From Greece)
