Dear Alan17 September 2026

His work helped me when I felt lost in a relationship I didn't wanted anymore. It felt suffocating and his art and passion reminded me of who I am, that I only have one chance to live the way I like. I left that person far behind and I can enjoy of your legacy without any shame or hiding myself. You inspire me everyday to be a better version of myself. I got into the University I wanted and I'll study Graphic Design, pursuing my dream. My achievements are dedicated to him as well for helping me to push throught a very rough time, dealing with poor mental health and suicidal thoughts that I nearly gave into. Alan Rickman had such an impact on me that people may find it ridiculous, but strenght comes of things most don't see. I never got to meet him, nor even be remotely near, we are many many years apart, our languages were not the same, but against all odds he found me, his art did. He will never know how much he means to me, how dearly and deeply I hold him in my heart, how he reminded me that despite being difficult with my own emotions I can love; reminding me that I'm human, capable of many things, that I have way too much to live yet. I'll never stop being grateful, such a beautiful soul that even after ten years of abscence, he had managed to inspire and form a large comunity, helping them too. Everytime I find myself starting to stress over small things again I think of what he said something that I will never forget: "𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚. 𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒂 𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆. 𝑺𝒐 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉, 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚 𝒊𝒕, 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖" Thank you for every little thing you did Alan Rickman, I love you. ♡
