It’s been a relatively short time since I truly saw you, and I should probably clarify what I mean. I had already seen you, of course… in films. But I’m not talking about your characters, wonderful as they undoubtedly are. I mean that I saw you — you as a person. And you’ve inspired me a great deal. I have a few projects that may or may not ever come to life. It depends on how brave I feel. I don’t only want your work to continue living; I want you to continue living too — as a person, as a human being. I know you’ll never read this, but I hope that those who love you as much as I do might be able to feel a little of you through these words. And I say a little, because I never had the fortune of knowing you. So this is only a small glimpse of what I believe I saw in you.
