Letters to Alan

Dear Alan14 September 2026

I wish you were still alive, so I wouldn't have to remember you with the sadness and frustration of no longer being able to enjoy your talent in real time. I first discovered Alan at age ten while watching *Die Hard*, and from then on, he was my favorite actor and a true inspiration. I am a theater actress myself, and I share his sentiment that "theater is my religion." Every time I step onto the stage, I think of him. He left us far too soon; that fu**** disease robbed us of the chance to keep enjoying his work, but fortunately, his movies, his talent, his presence, and his voice live on. He is gone, but not forgotten. We love you, Alan Rickman. Thank you for everything.
