Dear Alan12 September 2026

Dear Alan, I’ve never missed a person that I’ve never even met quite as much as I miss you. My biggest regret will always be not supporting you while you were alive. I knew who you were of course, but I didn’t see many movies you were in until recently. It’s comforting in a way to know you were always there, in the background of my childhood. You were such a beautiful person, inside and out. I feel like you took part of the world’s light with you when you left. Heaven knows we could use it right now. It may be selfish, but sometimes I wish so badly you were still here just to give us some encouraging words, a laugh, even just a smile. Thank you for leaving us with so many performances to enjoy for the rest of time. I will love you until my last breath, and even after that. Always.

Dannie
